Question by kloeyr (kloey)
When's the best time to move to Portland, Oregon?
When is the best time of year to move to Portland, Oregon?
If you can do that, I'd encourage it. Also avoid end-of-month moves for the same reason: moving companies are usually busier then with moving requests.
For Oregon, you best bet might be the fall before winter comes and rain starts. In fact, Oregon falls are pretty nice, so you should have good weather for your move there. The spring also, although my experience as a native Oregononian suggests it's a big more variable.
Any folks from Portland who have different thoughts on the best times to move there or suggestions of Portland moving companies?
Good luck with your move,
