Is it illegal to move on a weekend in Florida?

I was moving to my new apartment in Miami, it was a Saturday, and the security guard told me it is illegal in Florida to move on a weekend. Is it true?

I'm no expert on Florida law, but I doubt very highly that there's a law against moving on the weekends in Florida.

However, individual apartments can and do restrict move-in times for tenants, so I'm guessing that's what he meant. Apartment managers often restrict move-in times to certain hours on the weekdays so that the moving activity doesn't interfere with current residents' weekend activities.

Good luck with your move,
