That said, if you're looking for a moving company to move your one-bedroom house, have them come to your house to see exactly what you need to have moved. It's the only accurate way for them to give you an estimate of your moving weight. As you can imagine, a pack-rat's one-bedroom house will have much more stuff than someone who likes to take a minimalist's approach to their living.
