Choosing movers from moving reviews?
Do you have any recommended movers for a move from Manhattan to Los Angeles? I'm having a really hard time finding ANY company that has positive reviews!

Answer by tjohnson (Tim J.)
I think it's more important to look for moving companies that have mostly positive reviews, and for those negative reviews, how do they respond to them? Do they respond with anger? Or do they calmly give their side of the story? How the moving company responds will tell you LOADS about how they will respond if there are any issues with your move.
I would actually go a bit farther and warn you away from those moving companies you see on various review Websites that have ALL positive reviews, because there's a liklihood that the moving company itself is behind those reviews. Any moving company that lies about that shouldn't be trusted with your move.
Good luck with your move,
