Summary:
I would recommend being cautious about using this company. Although they seem to have very long history and pretty big fleet of trucks their BBB history is far from being satisfactory. In other words you have approximately 1 in 10 chance to be unsatisfied with this company.
Liberty (United) and Molloy (Mayflower) each received "B" SOUR score, so compared to Maffuccis "D" those companies seem to be more desirable candidates. Maffucci might offer better estimate then the other two, but keep in mind their controvercial lowballing history (mentioned in MovingScam.com and BBB).
If you still decide for some reason to hire this company we advise you to take some protective steps. Follow the guidelines in our Moving Guide regarding closing deals with movers and understanding your estimate, and make sure you insist on having an on-site visual and getting a binding estimate (but that should be done regardless of who you choose for your move). My mother recieved an estimate for moving from Massapequa, NY to Florida from Maffucci Storage Corp. NY DOT T-709 ICC MC #52793, along with 2 others from companies already reviewed on your website. Is Maffuci a reliable company? How do they compare with United Liberty and Malloy Mayflower?
