Question by normanljr (Norman Luke)
I need a load/unload service for a Houston to Dallas move
I need someone to load/unload but am willing to drive a Uhaul truck between Houston and Dallas. Can I find someone to unload at each end?

Norman,
Although it's pretty common to load and unload your stuff and hire someone else to drive, there are many companies that offer loading and unloading services with you driving.
You can look for these companies in the Yellow Pages; just be sure to thoroughly vet them. One of the major companies is Moving Labor Services -- follow the link for information about the service as well as pricing options.
Because you'll be using different crews at either end, just be sure you carefully map out where you want items at your new place -- since the crew didn't load the goods, they won't have a good idea of this. This article can give you a good idea of how to pack so it's easy to organize your stuff at unloading and make it easier on your helpers.
Good luck with your move,
