Transport Boxes from DC to CA
I need to move about 15 boxes of books from DC to CA. What kind of estimate can I expect?

Its a very small shipment, therefore you should expect to pay for a minimum weight of 1000-1500 lbs, depending on the company you choose. The price should be somewhere in the range of $0.70-$1.00.
