Question by littleguy1972 (brian)
Reporting of actual weight of transported goods
Does the moving company I used need to provide proof of the weight of my things? This was an interstate move and the price and fuel surcharge were based on the weight being transported.

Brian,
By law the compay must provide you with a proof of the weight of your shipment. It is usually done by faxing the weight tickets to your fax number, before you close the balance.
Its the only way for you to know that you are not being scammed.
Good luck with your move,
