On the move day - what if weather is bad?

What happens if it rains, snows / weather is bad?

Aruna,

It really depends on HOW bad is the weather. In many cases the customer just has no choice, and the move takes place, even if there is some rain, wind or snow. Moves like that usually take longer and are riskier for the items and boxes, but in many cases nothing bad actually happen.

If the weather is REALLY bad, the movers will contact you and ask to reschedule it. Since really bad weather can be considered as force major you would probably have no problem with rescheduling your move (make sure you have that clause in all your move related documents).

If the move can be rescheduled (from the customer perspective) then usually movers will accomodate those needs. Deliveries are tougher, since customer usually has very little control as to when the delivery will take place.

Good luck with your move,
