FINDING A MOVER

Question by Doreen (Doreen Montague)
I am trying to arrange a small move of 5 dining room chairs from Atlanta, GA to Vero Beach, FL.
I will not be on the Atlanta , Ga. premises but will arrange to have someone there so the chairs can be picked up. How do I find a moving company for such a small move and how is the paper work and deposit arranged and a firm price negotiated? Any suggestions and advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Doreen,
A similar question was asked by angela regarding her shipment to Upstate New York (What is the cheapest way to move few pieces across country).
In your case the shipment is even smaller (unless those chairs are really heavy...), and it probably would make sence to check with companies like FedEx or UPS what would be the cost of shipping your chairs.
Basically all depends on how important it is for you to get those chairs delivered fast and safely vs. the price you are willing to pay.
Good luck with your move,
