Why did MovingAnswers.org stop rating movers?

ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting July 14th team of MovingAnswers.org will no longer rate moving companies. Please read below why we stopped rating movers.

Recently, our service became very popular among people who needed help with particular movers. We were happy to assist people with those issues, however the original idea behind MovingAnswers.org was more in helping with the many different aspects of moving, and not becoming too involved with other people's businesses.

Eventually we realized that rating movers was in fact a serious help to our visitors, and we decided that it is time to separate that specific service from MovingAnswers.org.

As a result of that decision we started working on a new service called RateMyMover.org (www.ratemymover.org). With this new project we intend to create the largest collection of movers, rated according to our improved SOUR formula.

Work on this project already started, and we will dedicate majority of our time to launching it as soon as possible. During this time however we will no longer give public ratings to movers, and will resume that activity once the new site is launched.

We apologize for this inconvenience. For those of you who still need our help and cannot wait until the new site is launched we would be glad to help using private communication. You can forward your requests to ratemymover@movinganswers.org. We will do our best to give you quick reviews of the companies you want to research, however we would appreciate if you could limit your requests to maximum 3 companies.
