Question by ancient Greek (Sherryll Mleynek)
Moving from Hawaii
We are moving from Hilo, Hawaii to Portland, Oregon. What is the most economical way to have door to door service? We will need a 40 foot container.

Answer by bobfein (Bob F.)
Move from Hawaii to the mainland is usually handled by the same moving companies that handle international moves, since it involves shipping. Those companies will organize movers to do the pick up labor, a shipping company to ship the container, and (if needed) a local company at the destination to unload the container.
If you want to compare prices of different movers I would suggest you to use our free quotes form. Make sure you get a flat price for your move, and before choosing visit our site again to see if the mover of your choice was already rated by us, and that this rating is satisfactory (of cource, you can ask us to rate a mover if you can't find them on our site).
Good luck with your move,
