Question by grace (Grace)
How to find a safe car mover to ship our cars?
How to find a GOOD car transport company that is reasonably priced. I've been doing a ton of research but it seems that every company I contact is, for lack of better word, shady. They each say that the price is binding...BUT if the gas prices go up, it could change. I'm so at a loss for a safe company to ship our cars! Any info would help. Thanks, Grace

I share your frustration on that issue. Although we personally don't know any car moving companies that we could recommend to you, I know that MovingScam.com had a long discussion on car movers that you might be interested in taking a look at here:

In any case, I would recommend you to check one of our threads about car moving: Transporting car from east to west coast.
In general closing deals with auto movers is not different from closing deals with movers. Make sure that on the Order for Service it is clearly stated that the move is Guarranteed or Binding and have the company sign it.
Good luck with your move,
