Local moving companies search
I am planning a local move.

Answer by alexzehn (Alex Z.)
Especially if you are planning to move in the beginning, middle or end of the month the earlier you contact the movers the bigger flexibility you will have in choosing the preferred move date. You will be surprised that during those dates many companies are fully booked, if you call in the last moment.
Also, there is a better chance to get a good price for the move. Companies know that if you still have time to shop around, and, therefore will give you more competitive prices.
By starting your search early, you have time to choose the most reputable company, by checking their records online with BBB and other related sources. For more information on how to choose a reputable mover visit our moving guide, where you can find more explanation on how to choose a reputable mover. Good luck with your move,
