Want to start my own moving business - where can I find contacts of moving brokers?
Well,
We are not big fans of moving brokers here, because the ones we know about should probably be avoided by both the customers and the movers who takes their jobs.
So before I move into the discussion about where to find good brokers I invite you to check few of the threads on our sites:
Now to your case. Basically, moving brokers book jobs all over the states, so any one you find might have jobs in your area from time to time. There is however only one problem - I know that moving brokers usually deal only with long distance moves (over 100 miles and usually interstate). If you start your own moving business I would strogly recommend you to start from local moves, especially since in MD area there is no need for local license, only US DOT.
Since you plan to start your own moving business I would recommend you to be patient, book your own jobs and develop good reputation in the market. Then it will also be easier for you find good jobs with moving brokers.
I apologise for not answering your question directly, but since we prefer not to recommend any particular company unless it is part of our investigation process I would have to recommend you to try to find them on your own using search engines and referrals from other movers that use brokers' services.
One thing is for sure - get referrals from other movers to protect yourself from situations similar to the one I pointed to earlier.
Good luck with your move,

So before I move into the discussion about where to find good brokers I invite you to check few of the threads on our sites:
- Nationwide Relocation Services: this is one of the largest (if not the largest) moving brokers on the market, with many clones operating under different names, and even disguising as moving companies. Not recommended, period.
- World Moving Services: this is one of NRS clones.
- Mover stiffed by broker: here is an example of a mover that was cheated by a broker.
Now to your case. Basically, moving brokers book jobs all over the states, so any one you find might have jobs in your area from time to time.
