How Can You Pack Tea Cups and Saucer for Moving?

Answer by henry (Henry Peterson)

Breakable items are very challenging to protect when moving. Items like tea cups and saucers need to be protected and wrapped to protect them during your move. You will need sturdy moving boxes and then wrapping such as packing paper, bubble wrap and tape. The box used for tea cups and saucers should have additional linings (use cardboard or paper or bubble wrap) on the bottom and sides.

After securing the box with adhesive tape, don’t forget to place a sign that says “Fragile, handle with care” on the sides and top of the box, as well as arrows that indicate top and bottom. Make sure boxes labeled “Fragile” are stowed safely and securely on top of non-fragile items in the long distance moving truck.

Good luck with your move,
