How Can I Move a Large Couch?

I have a couch that is 83"L x 39"D x 36"T. I have an obstruction in my way, a 29.5" long wall that is 52" in front of my door opening and my door opening edge is 8.25" away from the same wall plane that the 29.5" comes from. My door is 29.5" wide. Will it work?

Congratulations on this exciting moving experience. this is certainly a tight one, and if you aren't using long distance moving companies, you might have to take off the door to get the couch through. Another option is to take the legs off of your couch. In any case, it is possible but it is best to speak with a professional moving service before you try anything.

Good luck with your move,
