Consumer Report: World Moving Services, MC #459615

I am considering going with World Moving Services, moving from Milwaukee, WI to Phoenix, AZ (MC # 459615-B) Do you know of any problems with this company. We had a inventory list and they do not come to the home for estimate, they give it over the phone.

World Moving Services

Safety Of Use Rating: F

(STAY AWAY)

This company is a broker, and in fact it seems to be associated with Nationwide Relocation Services (NRS) (see our report on that company: http://www.movinganswers.org/thread/73/Consumer-Report-Nationwide-Relocation-Services.html). MovingScam.com claim this company used the same addresses or phone numbers or both, and place it on their black list.

From Better Business Bureau:
  • This company is a member of the BBB

  • Number of complaints processed in the last 36 month: 255 (ridiculously high number).

From other sources:

  • MovingScam.com: NRS is listed on their Black List and appears in numerous forum threads.

  • RipoffReport.com: there are 12 reports regarding World Moving Services, including those clearly associating them with NRS.

Summary:

By all means AVOID this company. They are nothing but trouble. I would recommend you to look for real movers for your move and you are always welcome to research their public record with our team.

Good luck with your move,
