Should we hire a moving company or move ourselves ?

We are planning to move from area code 63011 to 23233 in mid-to-late July. We need to determine if we should hire a company or do it ourselves. This is a personal move, so we do care about cost as well. Please advise, thanks.

Congratulations on your upcoming move. Moving with a moving company or moving yourself really depends on the time, money and effort you are willing and able to put into your move. If you are moving yourself, you will do everything: packing, locating moving vans, loading and unloading and driving your items to your new home. This will be intensive and time-consuming; hiring a professional moving company may be better for you. There are numerous affordable and reliable movers out there - it is just a matter of conducting research, obtaining quotes and trusting them with your belongings.

We suggest pricing out movers before you move yourself. Who knows, you may find this is the easier and less labor-intensive way to go.
