Average Cost

What is the average cost to move three rooms of furniture 300 miles?

Answer by julie (Julie Owens)

Moving companies generally determine the price of your move by the weight of your belongings. The best way to figure out the cost of your small move is to use Relocation.com's Smart Moving Calculator. Simply place in the quantity of your items -- based on the contents in your living room, bedroom, kitchen, child's room, etc -- and the calculator will determine a rough estimate of what your move will cost.

Of course, the best way to determine what a move will cost is to have your prospective moving company come to your home for an in-house estimate. This will enable them to actually see your belongings and determine the pricing. We recommend meeting with three movers so that you can compare their pricing and services.

Best of luck!

Good luck with your move,
