Moving to Hawaii from Alaska
Jack,
I guess if your decision was made, and you have decided on the moving date then the next step should be shopping around for movers.
You will basically need a company that handles shipping jobs, which shouldn't be a problem in Alaska. I suggest you start first from getting some quotes, and you can do it on our site, although I think we only have a few companies of the kind you need. In any case, you could call some up by yourself, the goal is to have at least 3 quotes.
Once you have the quotes you can proceed in the same manner as you would with any other kind of move, which is to schedule visual estimates with the companies that gave you the quotes.
Then, if you still have open questions, you are always welcome to visit us again.
Good luck with your move,
