The president of this company is Michael A. Maffucci, however it is important to mention that this company (or himself) have no relation to Maffucci Storage Corp (Bekins agents in Long Island).

Summary:
In general this seems like an OK company. The risk of being dissatisfied with your move seems to be less than 3% which qualifies this company for a AB rating. Also in MovingScam.com they mention the fact that this company has a very well established route NY->FL, meaning that if you plan to move to somewhere along this route your chance to be satisfied is even higher.
I would recommend you to do some more shopping around to see what other companies have to offer. You can get few quotes from several long distance movers right here. In any case, never book with a company that did not perform a visual estimate in your house and did not give you a flat price for your move. Also, check this thread to learn How to find a good moving company.
If you still decide for some reason to hire this company we advise you to take some protective steps. Follow the guidelines in our Moving Guide regarding closing deals with movers and understanding your estimate, and make sure you insist on having an on-site visual and getting a binding estimate (but that should be done regardless of who you choose for your move). Also, insure your valuable items on MovingInsurance.com.
Good luck with your move,
