You can accomplish packing moving boxes for a big relocation a couple of ways. You can either have the moving company pack all of your belongings; have them pack only the large items and breakables (glasses, dishes and other fragile items); or you can do all the packing yourself.
If you have never packed for a large relocation before, it might be best to have professional movers take care of all the high-priced and fragile items, while you pack clothing, bedding and other soft items.
You can expect to be charged for boxes, packing materials and time, but when we're talking about a $3,000 LED TV and that antique china, it's worth it.
Good luck with your move,
