My girlfriend and I are moving 2 apartments into one all within New York City. We were trying to figure out if it would be more cost effective to have the same set of movers do the whole move at once, or would it be better to hire two "teams" of movers to do both moves separately in order to cut down on excessive travel time between apartments? Our apartments in two different parts of the city (washington heights and east village), and the new place is smack in the middle between them (west midtown)!
