Moving a small amount of household items to the UK from the US

I am moving a small amount of household items to the United Kingdom from the United States. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and want to ship some items to the United Kingdom, primarily paintings (about 30), as well as two bicycles and various small bits and pieces. What is the best way to do this? Time is not an issue.   Thanks! Charlotte
